Although it’s gone by many names over the past years — including the Best Buy 400 and the MBNA 400 — it’s still 400 frenzied laps around Dover International Speedway.
The unique partnership between Dover, Autism Speaks and HERSHEY’S Milk & Milkshakes will provide a platform for Autism Speaks’ message of public awareness and education about autism to the masses at the track in Dover and to those watching the race nationally on FOX.
Dover International Speedway will again feature Autism Speaks’ recognizable puzzle piece logo on the track’s retaining walls, special signage and on limited-edition souvenir merchandise. NASCAR Sprint Cup Series, NASCAR Nationwide Series and NASCAR Camping World Truck Series teams will again be encouraged to sport the Autism Speaks logo on their cars and trucks throughout the race weekend.
Forget the white cliffs of Dover, try the concrete tracks of Dover International Speedway for either the Autism Speaks 400 or it’s fall counterpart, the Dover 400. Just like Lowes Motor Speedway before it, and Pocono Raceway following, there is twice the excitement to enjoy in Dover. And while many NASCAR tracks are cushy asphalt, Dover International Speedway is rock hard concrete, a brutal test of machinery on the car and a demanding trial to the driver. But if you can’t take the pounding you won’t make the finish line at Dover International Speedway.

2012 Autism Speaks 400 Winner
Johnson romped again at Dover International Speedway, racing his way into the track's history books on Sunday with his seventh win on the concrete, matching the mark held by Hall of Fame drivers Richard Petty and Bobby Allison. Johnson, who won his 57th career Cup race, took charge and led the final 76 laps, pulling away for good on a restart with 31 laps left.
2011 NSCS Autism Speaks 400 Winner
Matt Kenseth wins the 2011 FedEx 400 benefiting Autism Speaks at the Dover International Speedway. Kenseth and crew chief Jimmy Fennig decided to only change two tires during a pit stop with fewer than 40 laps remaining and turned that risk into his second NASCAR Sprint Cup Series victory.
2010 NSCS Autism Speaks 400 Winner
Kyle Busch captured his second NSCS victory of the 2010 season, as he held off Jeff Burton to win the Autism Speaks 400 at Dover International Speedway. This was Busch’s 18th series career win, his second series win at Dover International Speedway, and he now is 69 points behind series leader, Kevin Harvick.
Following Busch and Burton to the drop of the checkered flag were Matt Kenseth finishing third, Denny Hamlin fourth, David Reutimann fifth, Greg Biffle sixth, Kevin Harvick seventh, Carl Edwards eighth, Tony Stewart ninth and Joey Logano rounds out the top-ten finishers.
