Def Champion: Kyle Busch
Bass Pro Shops NRA Night Race. Previously known as the Sharpie 500 as recently as 2009, the IRWIN Tools Night Race is a NASCAR Sprint Cup Series stock car race held at Bristol Motor Speedway in Bristol, Tennessee.
The biggest of the two races at Bristol is the Irwin Tools Night Race, which was formerly known as the Sharpie 500. The history of this race goes all the way back to 1961 as the Volunteer 500 (since Tennessee is the Volunteer State) and it has undergone several name changes since then. For nearly a decade it was the Sharpie 500, but in 2010 it took on a new name.
IRWIN Tools takes over the sponsor entitlement from Sharpie, a sister company under the Newell Rubbermaid umbrella, which has sponsored the race since 2001.
The IRWIN Tools name has been a NASCAR mainstay since 2003, serving as a primary team sponsor for Roush Fenway Racing, and during which time drivers Kurt Busch and Jamie McMurray have both won races in IRWIN Tools Fords.

This was the 11th career victory for Joey Logano, third of the season, second at Bristol Motor Speedway and 12th at the track for Team Penske. Despite winning the race, he left Bristol trailing Kevin Harvick by 43-points in the drivers points standings. Ford left Bristol trailing Toyota by one-point for second in the manufacturer standings and Chevrolet by 71 for the points lead.

2011 IRWIN Tools Night Race Winner
Brad Keselowski's victory at 2011 IRWIN Tools Night Race at Bristol has risen from 23rd to 11th in points over the last five races. In his second full Cup season, the Penske Racing driver essentially is guaranteed a spot in the Chase for the Sprint Cup. Keselowski is 21 points behind 10th-ranked Tony Stewart with two races remaining.
2010 IRWIN Tools Night Race Winner
Kyle Busch completed a week-long sweep of Bristol Motor Speedway by winning the 2010 IRWIN Tools Night Race. The win on Saturday was his third win of the week on that track, as he also won the Nationwide and Truck Series races earlier on. Busch held off David Reutimann (by 0.677 seconds) to win the IRWIN Tools Night Race at Bristol, and made NASCAR history by becoming the first driver to win all three NASCAR top series in one weekend.
2009 Sharpie 500 Winner
Kyle Busch won for the fourth time in 2009 Nascar season and for the second time at Bristol, despite having a car Saturday night that was no better than second-best. Busch showed emphatically he is not out of the Chase for the Sprint Cup picture, and Martin strengthened his hold of a spot in NASCAR's postseason. Busch moved up two positions in the standings to 13th, 34 points behind 12th place Matt Kenseth.
